MCS-Aware : March 2026 Update
In March 2026, MCS-Aware held a full team meeting with staff and newly appointed Trustees to reflect on the past year and plan ahead.
The discussion highlighted several key developments from 2025, including a marked rise in enquiries from both members and the wider public – showing growing awareness of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), fragrance intolerance, and related environmental conditions. We have continued to expand our information resources, both online and in print, ensuring support remains accessible to those unable to use digital technology. We have also strengthened our work with UK and international partners to support recognition of MCS as a chronic physical illness.
Alongside this, our core work remains focused on supporting individuals – providing guidance on healthcare, housing, benefits, and day-to-day living, as well as sharing lived experiences from our community. We have also continued to highlight important research developments, including growing biomedical evidence in related conditions such as ME/CFS.
Looking ahead, the team discussed ways to build on this progress, including improving our online presence, increasing awareness, and strengthening our impact through advocacy and collaboration.
